A Baker's Dozen

Sew & Tell Friday

Not sewing, but crochet couch potato olympics.
Using stash yarn, I've made 12 plus 3 of these cute little doilies from Crochet Today.

I have no idea what to do with these--oh, guess what all my friends are getting instead of cards this year. Really, I love these chunky doilies. Crochet Today has a whole retro thing goin' on in this issue. Next I'm going to try granny squares, since I'm down to just little bits of each color.

Tomorrow is Doll Quilt Swap day for me--I think I will have time to get all the blocks done (come back next week to see). Sunday I will continue the quest to SIMPLIFY--check out my next giveaway--hint: it will be charming!

Check out Amy's Sew & Tell for more great finishes!

I like the colors of these a lot and your picture of them all stacked up is so pretty!

These tempt me to get my crochet hooks back out and some yarn but I am refusing, barely! I have too much to do already, but then, yours are so pretty...

They look great. Makes me want to crochet but my skills really are somewhat lacking (even more than time available).

Those doilies are so pretty and colorful! Put them all together and they would make a great start to a quilt!!

That stack looks like a stack of coasters! (Been shopping for some not ugly one's, so I have coasters on the brain.) Those colors are beautiful, and I hear Granny Squares are totally addicting. I am resisting the urge to begin. :o)

I thought coasters, too. Either that or eat them like Pringles potato chips. So cute, they must be delicious, right? :)

so cute! they would look really cute as a spring garland! (maybe they'd need to be starched a wee bit?!) Or sew two together to make little flower shaped sachets! have a great weekend!

I love all the colors of the doilies and have been wondering how you will use them. Like others, my first thought was as coasters. The larger two look like some my mother had tied over the top of glass jars of potpourri. I have a goal to learn to crochet granny squares to use in Christmas stockings this year. Yarn crafts leave me tied in knots usually, though.
